We finally settled on an Indian restaurant called Masala. The front of the restaurant was opened to the street with a few outside tables. Inside the walls were draped with dark fabric, which made the walls appear to be further away and suggested separate rooms with chandeliers in several locations. The atmosphere was very soft and comfortable. The food was good and the beer was cold (sense a trend here?).
After our meal we explored more of the Gaslamp Quarter and purchased some t-shirts before going back to the hotel.
Interesting soft sculpture at the hotel. |
More at the front desk. |
