2015-07-19 - Sunday - June beetles and faces

Sunday Stephanie and Karen said there were bees swarming in the back yard. When I looked out, I thought they were too large to be bees so I went out to investigate. They weren't swarming like bees (in a clump), they were flying all around the base of the maple tree. They were June beetles and apparently mating.

I wend to Clayworks and worked on my latest face pot. I thought I needed to add more character to the face so I started adding more "flesh" and lines to it.
