2017-01-10 - Tuesday - Breakfast with friends

Tuesday I had breakfast with some friends.

Bowl by me, mug by Jeff Pender, spoon rests
by Susan Hughes and Kit Mitra, salt shaker by Lisa Connell

Tuesday night I made a couple of garlic pots. These were the first pots I made in 2017 and the first in almost two months. It felt good to get my hands dirty again.

2015-08-08 - Saturday - Fire kiln

Saturday we fired the kiln all day. Since it's a matter of checking it every hour or so, it left us free to do other things while it fired. We worked on repairing a wheel, measuring out some glaze materials, and I threw some pots. (I know, go figure.)

Kim and I started off with some Bojangle's biscuits and a cup of tea. Later, Becky and I had a nice lunch of falafel wraps from La Shish Kabob.

It was a good day.

Always good luck to drink from a Doug Blythe mug on firing day.

2014-06-15 - Sunday - Father's Day gift

Stephanie and Meredith gave me a photo mug for Father's Day.  I really like the photos on it and am pleased that they were comfortable enough to have fun with them.

I apologize for the auto-focus on my phone, but please be patient and it will eventually focus.
