2017-03-23 - Thursday - Ramen and pots

Thursday I met Herb and Ju-Ian at Futobuta for some ramen. The food is good there and the bonus is that the ramen bowls are made by William Baker.

In the evening I went to Clayworks where I slipped the snorkel pot and made a new handsquatch pot.

2016-11-11 - Friday - Setting up the gallery

Friday I had the honor to help Herb and Vince set up Elder Gallery for An Evening of Earth & Fire, Clayworks' annual fundraiser.

Larry Elder graciously donates his wonderful space to us for our gala. It's always a great night filled with lots of beautiful art. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend since I'll be in Greensboro on Saturday at the Potters of the Piedmont show. I will return late and hope to catch supper with the Clayworks crew.

2016-05-23 - Monday - Going Away Party

Monday we had a going away party for Kim Marcadis. It was a nice covered dish affair. We had a good turnout and lots of fun.

We are all going to miss Kim a bunch. She's a really good friend and she also does so much for everyone at Clayworks and the guild, she's going to leave some large holes when she leaves.

We all wish Kim and Terry the very best in their next adventures.

Great turnout.

Madame Anita was reading cards.

Kim and her beau, Terry seeing the future.

Herb is getting some insight while
Kim and Becky are up to something.

We made kiln gods for Kim's next firing.

Kim and Terry.

The crew.

All too soon, the sun set on our fun.
