2016-12-05 - Monday - Signage and phones
Monday I put my pottery sale sign out on Park Road for the upcoming sale.
Later, in the evening we went to BJ's and upgraded Stephanie's phone to the new Google Pixel. It's a very nice phone (and she's a very nice daughter).
While I was taking a photograph of my pottery sign for social media, a woman suddenly appeared in the frame. I had no idea she was going past until she appeared in the camera, so I just kept on snapping. At the time it was quite startling, but made me laugh at the absurdity of being startled by someone running away from you.

2016-04-21 - Thursday - Fungus, fortune, and the moon
Thursday my parents came for a visit. While setting up their RV I noticed some fungus growing on the far side of the split rail fence.
Later, we went to dinner and I got a mysterious fortune. It's good to know my goal will be met, but which goal? I guess only the baker knows.
Still later, I noticed the full moon through a gap in the trees. I first took a photo with my phone, but it was useless, so I got my camera. Try as I might I could not get the camera to record what I was seeing: a full moon shrouded by some wispy clouds with a halo between dark tree silhouettes. We take what our eyes and brain do completely for granted.

2014-02-15 - Saturday - Last snow post
I forgot to post this video I made of the snow outside the window on Thursday.
It was nice to see the snow change the view for a day or so, but it will be gone quickly.
That's not a bad thing.

Vanity phone skin
I was messing around on the Verizon skins site the other day and quickly realized that I could put a pot on my phone. Like a vanity plate you carry on your person.
I chose the one that we did with Joe's copper wash/alcohol spray method since the colors and textures are very dramatic. I'm still not sure about it since it costs twenty dollars, but it could be pretty cool. We'll see.
