2018-03-06 - Tuesday - Empty Bowls glazing

Tuesday night I glazed a batch of empty bowls. Onward and upward.

Waxed...

...and glazed.

When I got home I noticed a glow in the sky to the south.

It was intriguing.

Really intriguing.

2016-03-17 - Thursday - Glazing and slipping

Thursday I glazed some test tiles that will be fired in Hal Dedmond's wood kiln. Can't wait to see the outcome.

I slipped the tea bowls I've been making to give them a bit of an accent.

2015-03-15 - Sunday - Glazing again

Sunday I glazed a bunch of work that had been piling up for a while. We are loading the gas kiln a week from Monday and I'll be interested to see some of these pots finished. Every pot is an experiment.

2015-01-28 - Wednesday - Bowls and such

Wednesday night I got another batch of empty bowls back from the kiln. Once again, I was pleased with the results. I am going to make some of these for myself very soon.

Like he last time I have a photo of the group, followed by individual ones.

Later in the evening I made two garlic pots. I revisit some forms until I exhaust my ideas and I still have more surface ideas for these.

I glazed the second batch of Empty Bowls and tried some new things as usual.  Fun stuff.
