November 24 - Thanksgiving Day Parade

Thanksgiving Day we went to see the parade.  It was a good show with lots of fun acts, marching bands, and characters --all you'd expect of a great parade.  If you've never been, I highly recommend it.

Karen, Meredith, and Stephanie.

Some people are unknowing participants in the show...

This is one creepy clown.

I told you.

Our friend Jim who works at the Raptor Center.

There's always room for a stilt-walker.

This next set of pictures is dedicated to the woman that decided to stand right in front of us for the last third of the parade.  Thank you, unknown person.

Bet that woman would get a hoot out of her presence. Ha.

That is one crazy parade! We took my mom back in 2003 when we still lived in Charlotte. Nearly froze to death! That was the last parade I went to. We had a group choose to stand in front of us too, But at least they blocked the wind haha!
Did you know Alan Barnhardt from the Raptor Center? He used to be a good friend of mine, sadly we have lost touch....
(that is one scary clown, no wonder kids don't like clowns!)

Linda-
She was blissfully oblivious.

Tracey-
The last parade you attended? Wow, you need to get to another. I LOVE parades.

I don't know Alan, but I've known Jim for 20 years.

That clown was really creepy and he knew it. :8^) He was with the Charlotte Roller Girls, our very own roller derby team.
