2017-09-27 - Wednesday - Bad idea

Wednesday I decided to combine the pieces I made last night. Unfortunately, I joined them together while looking down on them on the wheel. At my perspective I didn't realize the proportions were all wrong. It was pretty hideous, and after adding handles and pushing it around for a while I decided the only humane thing was to put it out of its misery.

Note to self: Always look at the pot at eye level.

2017-09-26 - Tuesday - Lizards and pots

Tuesday I found a little green friend on the hood of my car before I started it up. I tried in vain to catch him, but he finally jumped off the hood and ran up the garage wall where he stared at me, panting. I felt bad for scaring him, but I would have felt worse about running him over.

Tuesday night I went to Clayworks and threw a couple of textured pieces to assemble later.

Tuesday night I went to Clayworks and made some new pots.

The two pieces on the left will go together, middle is a snorkel pot, and a textured pot on the right.
