2017-09-27 - Wednesday - Bad idea

Wednesday I decided to combine the pieces I made last night. Unfortunately, I joined them together while looking down on them on the wheel. At my perspective I didn't realize the proportions were all wrong. It was pretty hideous, and after adding handles and pushing it around for a while I decided the only humane thing was to put it out of its misery.

Note to self: Always look at the pot at eye level.

Friday night I had a lot of fun just playing. I made some familiar forms and tried one multi-part piece inspired by Nick Joerling.
