2009-11-05 Thursday - (Actually Friday morning)

As I mentioned, I stayed WAY too late on Thursday night throwing pots and yakking with Kim. When I was finally leaving on Friday morning I noticed some interesting lights outside the studio.

Flying saucer?
No, tower crane.

Aliens invading?

Nope, just the back parking lot lights.
(Without moving the camera.)

More pots anyone?

"Still going..."

I just can't stop making pots. I was at the studio until 12:15 Friday morning and I was planning on leaving early. I'm all over the place and loving it all. I am throwing off the hump to expedite production and am full of confidence that when I sit down to make something, I just make it. It may not be the perfect vision of what was on my mind, but it's close. I think I can get most of the shapes I want with a bit of tweaking. It's a nice feeling.

Olympics

Besides the excitement that Michael Phelps generates, the U.S. men's gymnastic team took the bronze the other night after nobody thought they had a chance at a medal due to teammates being out with injuries. This morning, the overall women's gymnastics were fun to watch since Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson won gold and silver respectively. All this contributes to me staying up way too late to watch all this stuff live. (Happens every two years --the winter games are really my favorite.) I get more sleep when the games are in this hemisphere. Go USA! *yawn*
