2016-06-03 - Friday - That flag

I was up by Newton on Friday getting gas and noticed a flagpole at the house next door. Despite the history of the confederate flag it continues to be flown frequently around here. I don't understand the reason people need to fly it but I don't have a southern heritage either.

At least it was flown beneath the American flag.

2015-06-24 - Wednesday - Montreal

Wednesday we went for drinks and dinner with some of the folks Karen works with. We stopped in an absinthe bar, and then on to a restaurant for supper.

We walked almost everywhere and we got to see some of the Montreal downtown area. Beautiful place.

I like the way the moon
echoes the flagpole ball.

The bathroom mirror had a lighted border which made my pupils look square.
