2017-02-27 - Monday - Glazing

Monday I glazed the rest of the Empty Bowls. I did a lot of different processes on them and ended up the decoration with some fun doodles.

Sanded.

Waxed.

First dips.

Second dips, waxed, sprayed, painted, doodled.

In the kiln.

Overflow.

A while back I posted a photo of my sad little rosemary plant. It's still in water and it's blooming again. I really need to plant it in the ground somewhere.

2016-10-01 - Saturday - More glazing

I came back Saturday to finish the job, which included more dipping, pouring, trailing, spraying, and painting. I keep adding more treatments and layers to my glaze work.

Jeff Pender and I were feverishly glazing for the fall shows and firing the kiln on Monday.

These pots dried in front of the fan from last night
and look quite a bit different.

I love the way this shino looks when it dries.

I really do.

Still glazing...

Finally!
